1 in 3 Campaign is a grassroots movement to start a new conversation about abortion — telling our stories, on our own terms.

2+ Abortions is a website and twitter account (@AdoboBravado) which helps to raise awareness about the common experience of people who have more than one abortion experience. Their inspiring message is:”Sharing Truth. Spreading Love. Stopping Stigma.” They have an excellent list of international storytelling projects.

Voices of Courage is a storytelling campaign from Physicians for Reproductive Health. It allows patients and providers alike to share their experiences that highlight why access to comprehensive and compassionate reproductive health care matters.

My Abortion, My Life, engages with the public in small gatherings, in collage workshops, and with public advertising. It is a project of Preterm in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Stigma Toolkit supports individuals and groups working to address reproductive stigma and create a culture that works for everyone. This site offers information, tools, research, and best practices for anyone who wants to eliminate reproductive stigma.

4000 Years for Choice is a visual storytelling project used to promote stories about our movement's history, both ancient and more recent, to support positive conversations about abortion and contraception. We Testify We Testify, a program of the National Network of Abortion Funds, is dedicated to increasing the spectrum of abortion storytellers in the public sphere and shifting the way the media understands the context and complexity of accessing abortion care. We Testify seeks to build the power and leadership of abortion storytellers, particularly those of color, those from rural and conservative communities, those who are queer identified, those with varying abilities and citizenship statuses, and those who needed support when navigating barriers while accessing abortion care.

Tennessee Stories Project The Tennessee Stories Project (TSP) is an effort to reduce abortion stigma by creating a space for Tennesseans to share their personal experiences about abortion.

The Abortion Diary is a podcast that collects oral histories of abortion, allowing the women who have had abortions to tell their stories in their own homes, in their own words, and on their own terms. 

Shout Your Abortion is a decentralized network of individuals talking about abortion on our own terms and creating space for others to do the same. SYA is everywhere: on the sides of buildings, in art and outfits and zines and social media.

Ending a Wanted Pregnancy offers support for parents ending a pregnancy after prenatal or maternal medical diagnosis.

Histories of Choice started as an oral history project to capture stories from illegal abortion experiences but has included more recent stories as well as those who provide abortion care.
